#205 Inadequate Public Participation in Proposed TRP Amendments Process (Healesville, Victoria)
Breach Description:
#205 In relation to the recent proposed TRP amendments by VicForests, MyEnvironment Inc submitted a request for more information so that an adequate TRP submission could be made, however this information has not been provided which breaches the requirements of the AFS standard in terms of meaningful stakeholder engagement.
#202- Proposed Logging of Old Growth Forest and # 203 Proposed Logging of Zone 1A Leadbeaters Habitat (Toolangi, Victoria)
Breach Description:
#202 – There is a significant stand of old growth forest that is proposed for logging on the current timber release plan (TRP)
#203 – These forests are Zone 1a Leadbeaters Habitat but they are scheduled for logging. This is also evidenced by that fact that the coupe is only approximately 1.6 km from an ANU Leadbeaters monitoring site further indicating that this is its likely range
#201 - Logging of Stream (Toolangi, Victoria)
Breach Description: Damage to stream with running water logged with excessive roads and damage to tree ferns
