Approved Logging in Remaining Unburnt Forest After the Fires
Here is the map of the approved Toolangi coupes (13 Aug 2009) roughly overlaid with the Feb 2009 fire area.
The coupes are are the blue green areas with numbers -
There is not much unburnt area left yet they want another 20 coupes!

Toolangi approved new coupes 2010
The attached map shows the approximate positions of 17 proposed coupes in the Toolangi area, together with the coupes already approved. The red numbers in the ovals indicate the number of coupes at that location, if >1. Note that 2 of the coupes are from the Dandenong list, not Toolangi, as they are on the Yarra Ranges side of the border. The VicForests map does not show the locations of the new coupes that are described as "Clearfelling-salvage".
