Attached are two maps, one being the media map of the Kilmore/Murrindindi fires, the other being a logging map created from the DSE's forest explorer interactive maps. It may be more than a coincidence that the fire pattern just happens to follow coupes logged over the last 30 years - hence lots of regeneration/regrowth, thirstier young trees, drier undergrowth etc etc....
