Central Highlands Forest Management Plan
The Forest Management Plan for the Central Highlands establishes strategies for the sustainable management of State forests, in an area which extends from the Hume Highway in the west, to the Goulburn River in the north, the Goulburn and Thomson Rivers in the east and the Princes Highway in the south.
This plan covers an area of 1 100 000 ha, of which 35% is State forest, 16% parks and reserves, 4% other public land and the balance private land. The plan includes six maps, which are not currently available on this web site.
